Cathie Dunn lives in Scotland and writes historical fiction and romantic suspense.
After several years of honing her skills, Cathie considered herself fortunate in that her first completed novel, Highland Arms, was published in 2011. Highland Arms is a historical romantic adventure set in Scotland in 1720, five years after the first Jacobite rebellion.
Cathie loves historical research, often delving into the depths of the many history books on her bookshelves. She also enjoys driving and walking through dramatic countrysides. She has travelled widely across Scotland, England, Wales, Normandy and Germany.
Dark Deceit is the first in The Anarchy Trilogy, set in 1140s England and Normandy. Murder, betrayal, hope – and a war for a crown.
Cathie currently works on a medieval Scottish romance set on the isle of Mull and a contemporary romantic suspense set in Idaho, US.
She is a member of the Romantic Novelists’ Association and the Historical Novel Society.
